Rashid, Nabi visit Ajmer shrine, seek blessing for World Cup

Jaipur: When Rajasthan Royals pulled off one of the thrilling wins against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens on April 25, Sunrisers Hyderabad are getting ready for their upcoming away clash here at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday.

Ahead of the 45th match of IPL 2019 Hyderabad's Afghanistan stars Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi paid a visit to the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer and offered their prayer on Friday, on the eve of their match in Jaipur.

The duo sought blessings at the shrine for Sunrisers Hyderabad's win in IPL 2019 as well as for their good show in the forthcoming World Cup in England and Wales starting on May 30. Both Rashid and Nabi have been phenomenal in the ongoing IPL. While leg-spinner Rashid took 10 wickets in 10 matches Nabi grabbed 7 in four matches.

Hyderabad are currently at the fourth spot on the points table. Their Saturday tie against Rajasthan Royals will be crucial as Royals are coming to play them in the backdrop of their victory against KKR.
