New Delhi: Delhi Capitals pacer Ishant Sharma and Chennai Super Kings' Shane Watson were involved in verbal altercations during Tuesday's match between DC and CSK at the Feroz Shah Kotla.

The incident took place during the third over of CSK's chase. After Ishant dismissed Ambati Rayudu, Watson was seen saying something offensive looking at Delhi Capitals players.

Watson's act didn't go down well with Ishant. After completing the over an enraged Ishant charged towards Watson and got involved in a verbal duel with the Man of the Match winnerof the match.
Seeing the funny side of the development Watson was seen laughing off Sharma’s aggressive attitude.

Before things could get ugly, DC captain Shreyas Iyer came in between and pulled Ishant away from the scene.

Watson scored 44 off 26 balls before getting bamboozled by Amit Mishra. Watson's innings was comprised of four boundaries and three sixes.
