IPL'19: Orange & Purple Cap holders and points table update

Despite the win, the Royals are still at the seventh spot while Kolkata are at sixth place.

Kolkata: Rajasthan Royals registered a thrilling three-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders here at Eden Gardens. Despite the win, the Royals are still at the seventh spot while Kolkata are at sixth place.

Both Kolkata and Royals now have 8 points in 11 matches, but the formers are at the sixth spot due to better net-run-rate.

Batting first, KKR set 176 runs target for the Royals. Captain Dinesh Karthik played one hell of an innings as he smashed 97 off 50 balls. The right-handed batsman smashed seven boundaries and seven sixes to build his destructive innings.

Meanwhile, the Orange Cap is still held by David Warner with 574 runs while Purple Cap belongs to Kagiso Rabada who has 23 wickets in his kitty.
