Mumbai: Delhi Capitals got off to a good start to their IPL 2019 campaign as they defeated Mumbai Indians by 37 runs here at Wankhede stadium on Sunday. Batting first DC posted 213 runs on board. In reply, MI were bowled out for 176 runs in 19.2 overs. Since injured Jasprit Bumrah has not come to bat DC's wait for a comfortable victory didn't get longer.

Man of the Match winner Rishabh Pant added another feather to his cap as he became the fastest batsman to score a half-century against Mumbai Indians.

Pant required just 18 balls to complete the 50 runs mark. The previous best was held by MS Dhoni of CSK who took 20 balls to achieve the feat in 2012.

Rahul Tewatia joins legends

Delhi Capitals all-rounder Rahul Tewatia joined Sachin Tendulkar, David Warner and Jacques Kallis to become the fourth fielder in IPL history to claim four catches in a match.

Zaheer and Yuvraj

Interestingly both Zaheer Khan and Yuvraj Singh made their India debut together in the same match at Nairobi in October 2000.
