Kolkata: After a winning start, both KKR and KXIP are set to take on each other on Wednesday at the iconic Eden Gardens. While KKR defeated SRH in a thriller KXIP trounced RR in an away match.

Now, as they head to play their second match Kolkata's cricketing cauldron we will have to keep eye on four youngsters who have the skills and abilities to emerge as their teams' key performers during the KKR vs KXIP clash.

Shubman Gill
Two sixes in a span of one ball in the penultimate over of KKR's successful chase against SRH showed that Shubaman Gill is ready for a stellar season.
He will definitely be the youngster to watch out for in today's match against KXIP.
Sam Curran
The 20-year-old KXIP all-rounder has already made his debut against RR. In his first match, the left-handed paceman demonstrated his bowling skills by scalping important wickets of Steve Smith and Sanju Samson.
In today's game, everybody would like to see him playing for KXIP.
Nitish Rana
In KKR's six-wicket win against SRH no. 3 Nitish Rana played anchor's role by smashing 68 off 47 balls. His innings helped Andre Russell and Shubman Gill to fire in the death overs to lead KKR to a thrilling win.

Varun Chakravarthy
Tamil Nadu spinner didn't get his debut match against Rajasthan Royals. But considering Eden Gardens' spin-friendly conditions he will have a strong chance to make his IPL debut.
Impressed by Varun's performance in the TNPL, KXIP signed 8.4 crore contract with him. He was the highest bid this year.
