Jaipur: Rajasthan Royals will be back at their cauldron, the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, on Monday as they open their 2019 campaign with a match against the Kings XI Punjab.

In the clash between Royals and Kings, the former ended up with a better track record. Out of 17 meetings between the two sides Royals won 10.
However, taking heart from the previous record it will be very hard to predict who is going to hold an edge over whom.
With both teams sported a new looka thriller will be expected from the game in the pink city.

The 27-year-old rose to fame owing to his exploits in TNPL. Impressed by Varun's performance in the Tamil Nadu T20 league KXIP owners signed 8.4 crore contract with him. He was the highest bid this year.
Jofra ArcherIn BBL 2019, Jofra Archer was the highest wicket-taker for Hobart Hurricanes taking 18 wickets. Archer is known for his deadly yorkers and pinpoint accurecy. He batting is a big plus for the Royals. Notwithstanding, his performance will be key to the Royals' success this season.
Sam CurranThis English all-rounder is a renowned face in county cricket. The ICC named Sam Curran as one of the five breakout stars in men's cricket in 2018.
As IPL 2019 is going to be his debut season he will leave no stone unturned to grab the limelight.

Chris Gayle
39-year-old KXIP southpaw was patchy in IPL 2018. But this time around he is coming to play with a red-hot form. Recently, he amassed 424 runs in 4 innings against England slamming two hundred.
As this could his final association with IPL he will do his best to make it a memorable one.
