IPL 2019 Final: Yuvraj Singh to play in summit clash against CSK?

Hyderabad: Veteran Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh might get a chance to don Blue Jersey for Mumbai Indians in the final of the ongoing Indian Premier League against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday. The finale of the cash-rich league will be played in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

Yuvraj was included in Mumbai's playing XI for the first fours games, the southpaw also struck a fighting fifty for three-time IPL champions in their opening game against Delhi Capitals. Delhi went on to win the match by 37 runs. Yuvi also seemed in good touch in next game against Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore, he also smashed Yuzvendra Chahal for to back to back three sixes.

However, Yuvraj's form dipped in the next two games and eventually, Ishan Kishan replaced him in Mumbai's playing XI.

On Sunday, the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Indias shared a photograph of Yuvraj Singh on micro-blogging site and wrote, "#IPL2019Final 🔥#OneFamily #CricketMeriJaan #MumbaiIndians #MIvCSK."

Earlier, on Saturday, Mumbai also shared a video on Twitter in which skipper Rohit Sharma recalls his first encounter with Yuvraj Singh.

“Yuvi (Yuvraj) to me has always been like a big brother. Although the first few experiences were not good. So, Yuvi has a spot in the bus where he goes and sits. And I was sitting there. That’s where me and Yuvi had sort of .. I will not say argument but we had an eye to eye contact,” Rohit can be heard saying in the video.

“Not that he is arrogant but he is Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj Singh means attitude and all that,” he added.

Yuvi said, “I remember when he came into the team and I shook his hand. He tells this story with too much extra spice (Masala).”
