London: Despite India being crashed out of the 2019 Cricket World Cup, yet they are not in a position to return home, thanks to unavailability of immediate return tickets.
The team will now have to wait till the tournament gets over to return back as the BCCI has reportedly failed to arrange return tickets on time.
The players are now expected to come back to India in batches as and when they receive their tickets.
The players, however, have left their team hotel at Manchester on Thursday but are expected to remain in the city till Sunday.
"Most of the boys will be in Manchester till July 14 and leave from there. Tickets are being booked after the campaign came to an end yesterday," a senior BCCI official was quoted as saying by a leading news agency.
