Bristol: International Cricket Council (ICC) are at the receiving end as questions are being raised against the governing body for not having plan B for the 2019 World Cup matches, with three matches rained out due to persistent rain within a week in England and Walse World Cup.

On Tuesday, the match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in Bristol was abandoned due to rain. It was the third time a match was suspended in the ongoing World Cup, that too within a week.
This is already the highest number of games abandoned due to rain in the history of the cricket World Cup.

Rain threat also looms large on India's next two fixtures.
Brtish met department has already forecasted that India's June 13 match against New Zealand and June 16 marquee clash against Pakistan could also be washouts.
India fined-tuned their campaign with two consecutive wins against South Africa and defending champions Australia. Now, captain Virat Kohli and his men will hope for a clean sky on match days.
