Indian openers started strong as they build a 67-run opening stand for the first wicket before Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed by Keemo Paul.
Rohit then partnered Virat Kohli for a 48-run partnership en route to his 17th T20I fifty. Soon, however, Rohit lost his wicket trying to up his ante as he was dismissed for 67.
A flurry of wickets soon followed as India were restricted to 147/5 in 19 overs before two sixes by Krunal Pandya and one by Ravindra Jadeja ensured India to finish the final over after scoring 20 runs.
Windies, would now need 168 to win and level the series. Earlier, India had won the toss and elected to bat first.
