Langer's boys will head into the fifty overs mega tournament in England and Wales, which starts on May 30, having won eight consecutive ODIs. Australia first thrashed India 3-2 in their own backyard after getting down 0-2 and then blanked Pakistan in five-match ODI series.
Former Australian skipper Steve Smith and his deputy David Warner are also now available for selection after serving their 12-month bans for their part in last year's ball-tampering scandal that rocked world cricket.
Speaking about Australia's selection dilemma, Langer said there is stiff competition in the bowling department. "We know categorically there are going to be one or two guys brutally unlucky not to get selected because they're all going so well. The blokes in the squad at the moment will be praying it's not them."
"It's actually becoming more obvious by the day to me, the same with the other selectors," Langer said, before adding, "It becomes more clear as you watch games. That's why games are so important. There's obviously going to be a couple of really disappointed players, but that's the tough business we're in."

Opening slots are one of the biggest selection dilemmas for Cricket Australia selectors. While Warner is proven performer at the highest level, Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja have shown their worth in their recent tours.
The former Australian opener also hinted that Warner, Khawaja and Finch being picked at the World Cup squad. "David has shown he's a very versatile player, Uzzie's batted three a number of times, Finchy's batted in the middle order. Versatility is important."
