Hyderabad: Former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not only famous for his exemplary match finishing skills in cricket but also well known for his wide range of cars and motorcycles collection.
Dhoni, who last represented India in 2019 Cricket World Cup semifinal against New Zealand, owns numerous luxury cars.
Some examples of the cars and motorcycles owned by the Chennai Super Kings captain are the Ferrari 599 GTO, the Yamaha RD350. Interestingly, MSD doesn't just own these automobiles but he is also well versed about the machines parked in his garage.
MSD owns more than 10 cars
Dhoni's love for luxury cars is not new to his fans. India 2011 World Cup-winning skipper is the owner of several high-end vehicles, including a Ferrari 599 GTO, Hummer H2 and the GMC Sierra.
Last year in September, Dhoni added another car in his garage -- the Jonga, this vehicle is used by the Indian Army.
MSD's fascination with superbikes
Not just luxury cars but former India skipper is also fond of superbikes. The 38-year-old Ranchi cricketer's collection starts with the humble Rajdoot RD350. The wicket-keeper batsman has more than one Rajdoot RD350 in his exquisite collection. MSD is also a proud owner of fantastic bike models like Confederate Hellcat X32, Harley Davidson Fatboy, BSA Goldstar, Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R, Yamaha FZ1, Ducati 1098 and the latest one, Kawasaki Ninja H2.
Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for the return of Dhoni.
The wicket-keeper batsman took a sabbatical from cricket after the 2019 World Cup loss to New Zealand and hasn’t played a game of competitive cricket in almost a year.
Dhoni was supposed to lead Chennai Super Kings in the 13th season of the Indian Premier League, which was was slated to commence from March 29, however, the Covid-19 pandemic halted those plans. IPL has been postponed indefinitely by the BCCI and Dhoni is still believed to be keeping himself fit for the cricket extravaganza.
Also, earlier this year, Dhoni was dropped from the BCCI's list of centrally contracted players. He was in the A category, which fetches a player Rs 5 crore, until last year.
