Sharjah (UAE): Aaron Finch scored a second straight one-day international century and put on an opening stand of 209 with Usman Khawaja (88) as Australia cruised to an 8-wicket victory over Pakistan in the second ODI here on Sunday.
Finch carried his bat to a career-best 153 not out from 143 balls - with 11 fours and six sixes - and the Aussie skipper also stepped up to bowl 1-41 from a full ten overs after Jhye Richardson had dislocated a shoulder while fielding.
Batting first, Pakistan made 284 for 7, thanks largely to Mohammad Rizwan's debut ODI century (115), but it never looked enough to really test the tourists.
Fittingly, Finch struck the winning runs with 13 balls to spare and Australia now lead 2-0 in the 5-match series against an experimental Pakistan side missing several key players.
The third ODI is scheduled for Wednesday in Abu Dhabi.
