Mohali: West Indies legend Chris Gayle on Saturday became the first cricketer to smash 300 sixes in the Indian Premier League(IPL). The Kings XI Punjab(KXIP) batsman achieved this incredible feat when he clobbered back to back sixes off the bowling of Mumbai Indians' Mitchell McClenaghan.
Before the start of the 12th edition of the IPL, the destructive batsman needed just 8 maximums to reach the milestone.
