RR VS MI: Mumbai Indians win toss, opt to bat first as Rohit misses out

MI have made one change as they brought back James Pattinson in place of Nathan Coulter-Nile. On the other hand, RR are going into this game with unchanged XI.

Abu Dhabi: Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bat first against Rajasthan Royals here at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Sunday. Kieron Pollard will be leading the MI side as Rohit Sharma is suffering from a hamstring injury.

MI have made one change as they brought back James Pattinson in place of Nathan Coulter-Nile. On the other hand, RR are going into this game with unchanged XI.

MI ended any hopes for Chennai Super Kings to make it to the top four with an emphatic 10-wicket win over them in their previous match while RR lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets.

Bottom-placed Rajasthan are coming after the lost against SunRisers Hyderabad. Steve Smith-led side will look to finish up in the table.

In their last meet this season, Mumbai got the better of Rajasthan and won the match by 57 runs.

Pollard: Just one change - Pattinson in for Coulter-Nile. Pitch is fairly good. Done pretty well batting first. A couple of venues dew has played a major factor. Here, not so much. Whatever you do you have to do it properly.
