Lahore: Babar Azam-led Pakistan won the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh 2-0 after the third and last match was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to persistent rain here on Monday.

The hosts won the first and second match by five and nine wickets respectively. Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez scored unbeaten half-centuries in the second T20I to cruise their side to a massive win.
Azam has been named as the Man of the series.
Both the teams will now compete against each other in a Test match, starting from February 7.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam said that the series win will boost his team's morale.

"Our bowling was outstanding in both the games... helped us keep them down to low totals," said Babar.
Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah called the loss disappointing.

"Before the series, we knew that Pakistan will be favourites because they are world number one and we are nine.
"We managed to put a good fight in the first match, but in the second match they won convincingly because they have a good bowling side."
