Mount Maunganui: New Zealand's middle-order batsman Ross Taylor on Sunday became first male cricketer from his country to play 100 T20I.

Former New Zealand women's cricket team skipper Suzie Bates is the most capped T20I player (male and female). She has represented New Zealand in 112 T20I games.

Taylor achieved this feat in the final T20I against India at the Bay Oval. He also became the third most capped player in international cricket.
