Mumbai Indians create a unique record in IPL

Mumbai Indians became the first team in the IPL to complete century of wins in the tournament.

Mumbai: Mumbai Indians on Wednesday became the first team in the Indian Premier League(IPL) to register their 100th win in the competition.

Three-time IPL champions Mumbai achieved this incredible feat as they defeated Chennai Super Kings by 37 runs at the Wankhede.

• Mumbai Indians: 100 wins in 175 matches
• Chennai Super Kings: 93 wins in 152 matches
• Kolkata Knight Riders: 88 wins in 167 matches
• Kings XI Punjab: 79 wins in 166 matches
• Royal Challengers Bangalore: 79 wins in 171 matches
• Rajasthan Royals: 71 wins in 137 matches
• Delhi Capitals(earlier Delhi Daredevils): 69 wins in 165 matches

Interestingly, Mumbai, who had won the cash-rich tournament back in 2013,2015 and 2017, will look to clinch their fourth title this year.
