Karachi: Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan will not feature in the team for the rest of the South Africa tour after sustaining a toe injury, the PCB said on Monday.
The Board informed that Shadab suffered the injury during the second ODI against South Africa on Sunday.
"The X-rays conducted following the match revealed an intra articular communicated fracture though there is neither any displacement nor angulation," they said adding that "the injury will be treated conservatively and Shadab will undergo a four-week rehab."

However, there is no clarity on whether Shadab will return to Pakistan or remain with the team for the rest of the series.
The three-match ODI series is currently poised at 1-1 after which Pakistan will lock horns against the Proteas for a four-match T20 series from April 10.
Shadab has a history of injury problems especially in the last two years. He recently recuperated after missing out on the home series against Zimbabwe and South Africa and came back in the PSL 6.
