Pune: After a thumping win in the opening Test of two-match series in Vishakhapatnam against South Africa, Team India will take on visitors in the second Test at Pune's Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
However, the weather forecast from Pune is rather disappointing for cricket fans as rain could play the spoilsport.

The weather prediction is clearly showing a thunderstorm in next 72 hours which might put question marks on the start of the first day's play on Thursday. There is also intense rain expected on the third and fourth day of the match as per the India Meteorological Department.

This is the second time that Pune is hosting a Test match. Earlier, in February 2017 when Australia were on the tour of India the visitors registered whopping 333-run win on the same ground. The last ODI it hosted was between India and West Indies in October 2018.

One of IPL's most successful team Chennai Super Kings made Pune's stadium it's home ground in 2018 season.

Cricket fans will be hoping that the weather does not play spoilsport as it is predicted to during the second Test.
