Health updates of Sourav Ganguly post-cardiac arrest

Ganguly suffered chest discomfort in the morning when he was at the gym. He was rushed to Woodlands Hospital and admitted to the ICU. Later, the hospital authority declared that Ganguly is stable.

Hyderabad: Sourav Ganguly, President BCCI, former Captain of Indian Cricket team, on Saturday has suffered a mild cardiac arrest in the morning while doing treadmill at his home gym. ETV Bharat brings to you the minutes that led to his heart attack.

• At 1 PM: Admitted to Woodlands hospital.
• Three-member health board led by Dr. Saroj Mondal has been set up.
• Sourav's pulse was 70/min, BP 130/80 mm of Hg and other clinical parameters were within normal limits when he was examined by the Woodlands hospital.
• According to hospital sources, Sourav's ECG showed hyperacute ST segment elevation in inferior leads and lateral leads.
• Echo showed mild inferior wall hypokinesia with preserved overall left ventricular function.
• Haemodynamically, Sourav was reported to be stable.
• Sourav receives loading doses of dual antiplatelets and statin and is undergoing primary angioplasty.
