Kolkata: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president and former skipper Sourav Ganguly on Monday opened up about the difficulties that he faced while organizing the country's first-ever day-night Test against Bangladesh starting 22nd November.
Talking about India's first-ever pink ball Test, Ganguly said, "It is going to be fantastic. Everyone is so excited. We worked a lot for this Test. The stadium is ready and the preparations are complete. We will once again check everything a day before the start of the 2nd Test."
When Ganguly was asked about the changes in BCCI after he took over the office. He said he is delighted that everything worked out. Ganguly also said that he is glad that it is going to be a full house.
It is also noteworthy that the residents of Bengal were not able to buy the ticket as it was sold out within days. When Ganguly was quipped about this, he said that the BCCI can not do anything in this matter.
Heaping praises on Virat Kohli-led Team India, Ganguly said that the team is doing well.
Ganguly was also all-praises for double centurion Mayank Agarwal. He said, "Mayank is an outstanding player. He did well against South Africa and Australia. It is his beginning days. But he is a quality cricketer.
