Kolkata: Hanuma Vihari is currently in the 'city of joy' to represent his Ranji team Andhra against Bengal which is slated to begin from December 25.
In an exclusive interaction with ETV Bharat, Hanuma Vihari stated that he is currently aiming to perform well in the ongoing Ranji Trophy and after that he is looking forward to the New Zealand series where he wants to perform well as he did in England, Australia and West Indies.
Middle-order batsman Hanuma Vihari debuted for India in the fifth Test in the England tour and has so far appeared in 6 Test matches for the Men in Blue wherein he has scored 456 runs at an average of 45.60. He has three half-centuries and one ton in his name.
Hanuma Vihari has also been selected as the skipper of the India A side for their two four-day matches away series against New Zealand.
