After inaugurating the building, Gehlot in an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat opened-up about his plans for the development of grass-root cricket in Rajasthan.

Gehlot also said that he is waiting for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) instruction regarding the resumption of domestic cricket in the state.

“We did write to the BCCI asking for a grant that can help us in getting the stadium ready. Definitely given the situation we all are in due to the Covid-19, the new stadium will take some time to take shape. But the process has started and we are working on it. On July 3, our architect and concept designer from Indore will be here in Jaipur and we have arranged a meeting with them that will also be attended by CP Joshi. So we will be moving ahead with the stadium work,” said Vaibhav.

According to the reports, more than 20 office bearers from various district cricket associations, including secretaries Vivek Vyas (Tonk), Sushil Sharma (Churu), Rajkumar Mathur (Bundi), Pradeep Nagar (Dausa), Subhash Joshi (Sikar), were present during the RCA office inauguration function.
