After winning the toss, Pakistan skipper Azam said," We are bowling first. The conditions will suit our bowlers. Our preparations have been good, we have been here from the last two months. We're confident of doing well. It's definitely difficult to adjust from red-ball cricket, but it's all about having the perfect mindset."
Eoin Morgan said, "We would have fielded first as well. The wicket has been under covers for some days, Joe Denly and David Willey, unfortunately, miss out today. We have had a good run, happy with the way we are playing, it's important to contribute to the team's cause."
