Adam Zampa bagged three wickets, Pat Cummins clinched two, while Jhye Richardson, Marcus Stoinis and Nathan Lyon picked one wicket each.

On the other hand, opener Rohit Sharma, who hit 56 runs, was the highest scorer for India. Also, Kedar Jadhav scored 44, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar hit 46 to make sure India didn't go down without a fight after the hosts' middle order flopped badly.

Earlier, Australia's opening batsman Usman Khawaja smashed a century to help his team achieve the respectable total.

Meanwhile, the series defeat will be a wake up call for India, who even after winning the opening two games of the five-match rubber, was outplayed by Australia in the remaining matches.

The series started with the Team India showing complete domination in the first two games, before Australian cricket team made a comeback with a quality win in Ranchi.

While in Mohali ODI, Aussies showed that they are here to make a statement as they chased down India's total of 358 with 4 wickets in their kitty.

Interestingly, it's the first time that India have lost a five-match bilateral ODI series after being 2-0 up.
