Nottingham: The 26th match of the ongoing Cricket World Cup, which was played between Australia and Bangladesh, has stopped due to rain. The match is played, here, in Trent Bridge.

Before rain played the spoilsport, Australian batters were hammering Bangladesh's bowling attack. Riding on brilliant century from David Warner and Fifties from Finch and Khawaja, the defending champions were comfortably placed at 368 for the loss of five wickets in 49 overs.

Earlier, defending champions Australia won the toss and choose to bat first against Bangladesh in the 26th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup here at Trent Bridge, on Thursday.

Both the teams are coming into this match with a win as Aussies defeated Sri Lanka while Bangladesh clinched victory over West Indies.

Australia have made three changes in playing 11 while Bangladesh made two changes.

After winning the toss Aron Finch said, "I think we have played well in patches. There have been times we haven't got it right. Still excited to be in this position. Stoinis comes back in the team. We get through the middle overs nicely."

Mashrafe Mortaza, at the time of toss, said, "It's a good wicket, you never know. We are chasing very well in the last few matches. My knees are alright, trying hard, let's see. The boys are confident after that last match. Rubel comes in for Saifuddin and Sabbir comes in for Mosaddek."
