Captain Kane Williamson and the rest of the players who played at the IPL are still confined to their rooms. Williamson is also en route to regaining full fitness after sustaining an injury on the left elbow earlier in the year.

Captain Kane would need to be in top form for his side against England's wily veteran fast bowling pairing of Stuart Broad and James Anderson, who are still going strong with more than 1100 wickets between them.
