Dubai: Fire broke out near Dubai International Cricket Stadium, putting the match in a jiffy as smokes were seen slowly engulfing a part of stadium here on Thursday. However, the match started as scheduled and there was no major loss related to the incident.
The stadium that will host the India-Afghanistan match in a dead rubber is ready for another clash after Pakistan snatched victory from the jaws of defeat against Afghanistan last night, leading to ugly scenes among few players and ruckus at the stadium that witnessed blows exchanged among spectators.

India will feature a Rohit-less Indian team against Afghanistan after losing the toss. The team would look for a morale boosting win after two underwhelming performances against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
