Motihari: Commonwealth Games gold medallist Jwala Gutta on Friday said she plans to return to the badminton court soon.

Gutta was speaking at the sidelines of an event 'Run for Peace' organised by East Champaran district administration in Motihari town. Over 2,000 boys and girls participated in the event.

Asked about her unplanned and sudden break from badminton, Gutta clarified that she had not announced retirement from the game and would be back to the court soon.

The 37-year-old shuttler said that she took the break to set up her academy. "I am very happy to see the participants turning up in large numbers in a winter foggy morning," Gutta signed off.
