Later, the Irish fighter stomped on the phone several times, picked it up and walked away. Police later found Mcgregor at his local address and charged him with strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief. The fighter was let off on USD 12,500 bail.
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter is already facing a 6-month suspension and was fined USD 50,000 for his October post-fight brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team.
Whereas, Khabib faced a suspension for nine months and was fined USD 500,000, Nurmagomedov managed to maintain his unbeaten 27-0 record.
Last April as well, the Irish fighter was charged with assault and criminal mischief after he attacked the bus carrying UFC fighters including Khabib Nurmagomedov at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Although, Mcgregor faced no jail time as the court ordered him to undertake anger management classes and five days of community service.
The Notorious is eligible to return in the octagon on April 6.
