Hyderabad: Television actor Sidharth Shukla's prayer meet will be held today at 5 pm. The fans of the late actor can join the virtual prayer meet via a Zoom link. Actor Karanvir Bohra took to Instagram to share the invite, on behalf of the family.
On Monday, Karanvir Bohra shared an invite for Sidharth's prayer meet. He wrote in his post, “Let's all come together today at 5pm for special prayers and blessings for our friend #sidharthshukla organized by his mother #ritaaunty and his sisters #neetu and #preeti and sister #shivanididi @brhamakumaris_bk #seeyouagain on the other side bro."

Shukla, whose sudden death stunned the showbiz industry and TV fandom, was cremated in Mumbai on Friday, a day after his demise, in the presence of his family, friends and colleagues.
Meanwhile, Sidharth's family has also released a statement thanking hordes of fans who showered unconditional love on the actor. The family also thanked Mumbai Police for their support. "Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth’s journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn’t end here as he now resides in our hearts forever! Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve,” the statement read.

It further read, "A special Thank You to the Mumbai Police force for their sensitivity and compassion. They have been like a shield, protecting us and standing by us every minute of the day! Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Om Shanti- The Shukla Family."
Sidharth is survived by his mother and two sisters. The model-turned-actor made his debut with a lead role in the television show Babul Ka Aangann Chhootey Na and attained popularity with Balika Vadhu. Besides daily soaps, Shukla also participated in reality shows, including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Bigg Boss 13. In 2014, Shukla made his Bollywood debut with the Karan Johar-produced Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania where he had a supporting role.
