Mumbai: Sana Khan opens up on what instigated her to publically talk about her breakup with choreographer boyfriend Melvin Louis. Sana said she wanted to warn other girls from falling in the same trap as she did.
On February 12, Khan took to social media to reveal that her relationship with Melvin has ended on a discordant note. She accused Melvin of regularly cheating on her.
Sana, who will be next seen in Hotstar original Special Ops attended the trailer launch of the series on February 25 in Mumbai. During the media interaction, Sana was asked about the split and how she gathered the courage to speak about it in public.
"Whatever I've said is true and I wanted people to know that sometimes what you see is not what you get. I was fooled but I don't want the same happening with others," said Sana.
"I realised it's not about only a petty issue but to bring the truth out as I don't want another Sana Khan in the making," concluded the former Bigg Boss contestant.
Earlier, Sana shared screenshots of a string of personal messages after her former beau shared a cryptic post on social media.
Sana took to her Instagram Stories to share screenshots of some personal messages wherein a person told her about Louis and the girl, who he is in contact with. In the message, the anonymous person did not disclose the other girl's name but shared how they both met and talked to each other on Whatsapp.

Louis had also posted a cryptic post on his Instagram account which went viral on social media.
In the post, Louis can be seen wearing a t-shirt with a caption that reads: "Bulati hai magar jaaneka nahi (she calls... but don't go.)"
To which, Sana too shared a cryptic response.
She shared a meme, which read: "Jo ladke status daal rahe hai 'bulati hai magar jaane ka nahi'... unko bata du sachai to ye hai... 'jaane ka hai per koi bulati hi nahi' (guys who are uploading statuses 'she calls but don't go'... the truth is 'they want to go but in real there is no one to call them)..."
It was on 2019 Valentine's Day when the couple officially announced their relationship to the world.
