Mumbai: Kalki Koechlin has started shooting for her upcoming web series 'Bhram' in Shimla. The psychological thriller is written by K Hari Kumar and directed by Sangeeth Sivan.
'Bhram' is the story of a romantic novelist essayed by Kalki, who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Talking about the series, Kalki said, “Bhram is an intriguing story and the character I essay is really complex. I heard the script and then kept thinking about it for days. It is almost frightening how the human mind works. I am looking forward to the shoot and the release on ZEE5.”

Further talking about her character, the 'Dev D' actor said, "My character Alisha is a popular romance writer. She has memory loss and hallucinations after an accident, and is convinced her mental state is a way to find out the missing piece of puzzle (related to the incident). She continues to believe her story even though everyone else has stopped believing her," she added.
Kalki has earlier featured in popular digital shows including 'Smoke' and 'Made In Heaven'. The actor will also be seen in the Netflix show 'Sacred Games 2' releasing on August 15.
‘Bhram' is an eight-episode web series which will stream on ZEE5, tentatively in September. It also stars Bhumika Chawla, Sanjay Suri, Eijaz Khan, Omkar Kapoor amongst others.
