Mumbai: Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii actor Sachin Kumar breathed his last here on May 15. The actor, who was reportedly the first cousin of actor Akshay Kumar, died of a heart attack at his residence.
Several reports suggest that TV actor Sachin died of a heart attack at his residence in Mumbai on Friday. The news was confirmed by many of his industry colleagues who had worked with him on TV shows and other projects.
TV actors Rakesh Paul and Chetan Hansraj, who have worked with Sachin in the past offered condolences to his family on social media.
If reports are to be believed, Sachin was the first cousin of actor Akshay Kumar, who quickly rushed to the Oberoi Springs in Mumbai after hearing the news.

Chetan Hansraj, who got to know bout Sachin's demise through social media and expressed his shock while talking to a tabloid. "We had worked together in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki but he had quit acting a long time back," said the actor.
Actor Rakesh Paul confirmed the news to a leading daily adding that he could not see him since by the time he learnt of his demise, Sachin's body had already been sent to the crematorium.
Actor Syed Zulfi took to Facebook to mourn Sachin's demise and wrote, "Miss you brother Sachin rest in peace gone to soon."
Sachin, who also appeared in Lajja as the negative lead, had quit acting to pursue photography as a career.
