Washington D.C.: Kristen Stewart in 'Underwater' trailer fights her fears as a mystery lies ahead of her in a water-filled submarine.
The first trailer of 'Underwater' features Kristen as one of the members of a stranded submarine crew.
The trailer opens with a radio message, "Listen carefully, You are now 5,000 miles from land and you are descending seven miles to the bottom of the ocean."
It follows the unsettling journey of the underwater researchers' crew who deals with the terror and chaos following an earthquake which devastates their subterranean laboratory.
The crew not only has to cope with a water-filled submarine but an unknown underwater creature, seemingly a sea monster, which tries to harm any individual it sees.
The 'Underwater' trailer features Kristen in a never seen before avatar with a butch cut hairstyle and big round-glasses.
Helmed by William Eubank, the mystery thriller also features T.J. Miller, Vincent Cassel and John Gallagher Jr.
'Underwater' will hit the big screens on January 10, 2020.
