Washington: Years after her marriage and being a mother, Whitney Port said that she now regrets to turn down Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

In one episode of her podcast titled 'With Whit', the American TV star on Thursday revealed that she had one major dating regret from her 20s.

The 34-year-old star revealed that a decade ago the Hollywood heartthrob once asked her out on a date after exchanging text messages for six months.

She recalled: "He invited me out to Teddy's and he invited me back over to his house and I said no."

She further said: "I was too nervous. I had never had a one-night stand. I didn't want to be with him alone. I was way too nervous to do it and then I lost my chance and it's really one of my bigger regrets in life. If you didn't think I was cool, now you probably do."

Excited to share the news with the world, she said: "I have been dying to tell people this story for ages," but she feared that no one would believe her.

Port was married to Tim Rosenman in 2015. The couple became proud parents of Sonny in 2017.
