Washington D.C.: Lady Gaga earned a major milestone on the occasion of A Star is Born anniversary. The musical romantic drama hit the theatres in the United States on October 5, 2018.
According to a leading newswire, the actor-singer was awarded a plaque, honouring the album's sales milestone.
A Star is Born album earned hit double-platinum status in the U.S. for selling around 6 million copies worldwide.
Taking to her Instagram, Gaga shared the news along with a picture of herself in bubblegum pink hair holding the plaque.

"A year ago, A Star was Born, and here we are 6 times pink platinum," she wrote alongside the picture.
Gaga who is known for pushing fashion boundaries with jaw-dropping couture and unconventional works looks appealing in her pink ensemble coordinated with her pink hair.
While the whole album of A Star Is Born was liked by the audience, Shallow crooned by Gaga and Bradley Cooper received major appreciation and success since its release.
The soulful track also won big at various award festivals in 2019 including a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Golden Globe.

A Star Is Born was produced and directed by Bradley and written by him alongside Eric Roth and Will Fetters. The musical romantic drama follows a hard-drinking musician (Cooper) who falls in love with a young singer (Gaga).
The movie also starring Dave Chappelle, Andrew Dice Clay, and Sam Elliott is the third remake of the original 1937 film, after 1954 and the 1976 musical.
A Star Is Born received several accolades, including eight nominations at the 91st Academy Awards, out of which Best Picture, Best Actor (Cooper), Best Actress (Gaga) and Best Supporting Actor (Elliott) were taken home by the film's cast.
