JLo's concert comes to a halt as power outrage hits NY

In the middle of a show, singer-actor Jennifer Lopez went off stage as the power went out in New York City.

Washington: A major power failure terminated the concert of Jennifer Lopez at Maddison Square Garden on Sunday.

Following the unexpected power cut, JLo's sold-out concert came to a halt leaving fans in dismay.

The versatile singer took to her Instagram handle to put the incident out there. She also said that her performance is rescheduled on Monday.

Addressing the unfortunate incident, the 49-year-old singer posted a series of videos on her Instagram, saying: "The power is out in NYC and at MSG. Heartbroken to say tonight’s show is cancelled."

In one of her videos, she wrote: "Devastated and heartbroken that I can’t perform for all of you tonight. We will make this up to you, I promise! I love you!!"

Meanwhile, the singer is currently making rounds with her 'It's My Party' tour which kick-started in June. The tour will continue till July 24, 2019, marking her 50th birthday.
