London: Chris Hemsworth says playing a superhero hasn't impressed his kids as much as he'd hoped.
The Australian star, who is famous for playing Thor, has a seven-year-old daughter and twin sons aged five.
"I think the older they get they're kind of grasping what it is," he says.
"They were pretty young when they saw one of the Thor films on a plane one time. One of my boys came home saying, 'Oh my God papa!' You know, Thor this that. And he had this little hammer and he was running around, you know, jumping and breaking things. And then they wanted to come to work one day to see me as Thor. I'm like, 'Awesome.' They get there they're like, 'Cool. Can you fly? Where's the hammer, do some special stuff.' And they're like, 'Where's the Hulk?' I'm like, 'That's Mark Ruffalo.' They're like, 'What?' And they were so unimpressed by it all."
Hemsworth will soon be seen alongside fellow Avenger alumni Tessa Thompson (who plays Valkyrie) in sci-fi reboot 'Men In Black: International'.

While his children were underwhelmed on the Marvel set, when they met Hemsworth's new co-star they took things a little too seriously.
"It's weird because when I first met them they were, one of them was still mad at me for zapping you," recalls Thompson, explaining that Hemsworth then had to explain to his kids that they are in fact friends in real life.
'Men In Black: International' comes 20 years after the original 'Men in Black' which starred Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.
The new movie introduces special agents H and M (Hemsworth and Thompson) from the UK-based team, who are tasked with saving the world from alien attack.
Like their American cousins, H and M have to wear the trademark black suit and sunglasses.

For Hemsworth and Thompson, both 35, getting to wear the iconic outfits was a "pretty cool" experience.
Thompson recalls the first time they put the suits on:
"You put on the suit and then the glasses and you're suddenly, for me at least, I remember that day being like, 'Oh, we're in a 'Men in Black' film," she says.
"There was a strange kind of, 'Wow, we're doing this.' And we were 14 when this first came out," notes Hemsworth.
'Men In Black: International' is slated to hit the Indian screens on June 14, 2019.
