Mumbai: Filmmaker Christopher Nolan whose 'Dunkirk' has grossed $526.9 million at the box office has started shooting for his next flick 'Tenet' in India.

The action drama will feature the Twilight fame actor Robert Pattinson and Bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia.

The entire cast and crew of the film were spotted on Monday shooting for the much-awaited project at the Gateway of India.

The team has also shot across various locations in Mumbai. From filming on the streets near the famous Taj Mahal Hotel, the team has recorded ample sequences in Colaba Causeway and Royal Bombay Yacht Club.

Several pictures from the shoot have gone viral on the Internet.

In one picture, Nolan is seen wearing a garland and is busy guiding his team, while in another he is spotted on a ferry wearing an orange life-jacket.

In one of the pictures that have surfaced on the internet, the filmmaker is seen cranking the camera while an assistant follows him with a large umbrella.

The Lighthouse actor was spotted in a crisp formal shirt teaming up with a beige suit and sunglasses.

Joined by Dimple and Nolan on the sets, Pattinson was seen engrossed in a conversation with someone from the team.

Donning a salwar suit and a red shawl, the Bobby actress was seen getting ready for the shot as she tucked in large clips on her hair.

The cast and crew will continue shooting for the film in Mumbai for 10 days. The action sequences will be shot in various countries including Italy, UK and Estonia.
