Emmys 2019: GoT wins Best Drama, see complete winners list

It was a big night for Billy Porter and Jodie Comer who took home the Best Actor Award at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards. Also, Game of Thrones won the Best Drama.

Los Angeles: The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards kicked off at the Microsoft Theatre in Microsoft Theatre here on Sunday. Billy Porter took home the trophy for Lead Actor in a drama series for his role in Pose while Jodie Comer won it for her portrayal of Oksana Astankova /Villanelle in Killing Eve.

Julia Garner won the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a drama series for her role in Ozark while Peter Dinklage took home the award for Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones.

Meanwhile, HBO's uber-popular drama series Game of Thrones bagged, which had 32 nominations this year won the Best Drama series among others.
