Washington: The Europe Music Awards 2019, which held on Sunday in Seville, was a star-studded affair as singers from different genres and across languages joined in.
The mega music gala witnessed a power-packed performance by singers such as Akon, Halsey and Green Day among others. Besides them, the Seoul based boyband NCT 127 were buzzing with energy before they took the stage for the evening.
Speaking at the MTV EMAs hosted on November 3 in Seville, Halsey said: "It's really honest. The whole thing is a rollercoaster ride, it's different from one song to the next."
Beside Halsey, several other artists took the opportunity to promote their new music albums and singles.
Singer Grace Carter who crooned hits like Don't Hurt Like It Used To was all praise for the New Rules hitmaker Dua Lipa.
Speaking about her album at the event, Dua Lipa said her sophomore album DL2 which is due out soon is "really fun."

"I guess because everybody says that the second album is so hard I've tried not to give myself that pressure and just had fun with it," she said, further adding, "I feel like you can dance along to every song. It's quite disco orientated but with new sounds and I'm just so excited for everyone to hear it."
One Direction's Niall Horan noted that his upcoming tour with Lewis Capaldi and new music were all "coming very soon."
While this year's red carpet kicked off in style with a performance from Brazilian drag queen and singer-cum-songwriter Pabllo Vittar, it closed with a performance from Mexican superstar Sofia Reyes and Puerto Rican rapper Jhay Cortez.
