Los Angeles: Hollywood actor Chris Pratt says he got a key endorsement of his new action movie The Tomorrow War from his father-in-law Arnold Schwarzenegger. Pratt says Schwarzenegger, father of Pratt's wife Katherine, watched the trailer for his new apocalyptic alien-fighting blockbuster.
"He always surprises me with just how astute he is in regards to really everything in life. And he watched the trailer and he said, I'll tell you why that's extraordinary. He said, I think it's fantastic because you really get a sense of the relationship right away between the father and the daughter and the father and the wife and what it would mean for a real father," Pratt said.

In the film, Pratt plays Dan Forester, a high school teacher and military veterinarian. He is recruited by a group of time travellers to fight a war with alien species that threatens life on Earth. Dan teams up with his estranged father, played by J.K. Simmons, and a brilliant scientist, portrayed by Yvonne Strahovski, to rewrite the fate of mankind.
Pratt says the key to the film is that relationships are believable, which is prime for Schwarzenegger. "We got his endorsement, and he hasn't even seen the aliens yet, which, by the way, are really cool. So it should be a home run in Arnold's book."
The movie is out on Amazon Prime Video on July 2.
