Mumbai: Amrish Puri's grandson Vardhan Puri is set to make his Bollywood debut with the upcoming film Ye Saali Aashiqui. The trailer of the film, also starring debutante Shivaleeka Oberoi was launched on Tuesday.
The trailer opens with Vardhan Puri playing Sahil who is interrogated about a girl which he claims to be his girlfriend. The story then goes in a flashback depicting a love story between the two. He then says that he hadn't seen her for three years after they had a break-up.
However, the plot takes a twist when the girl played by Shivaleeka tells a different story saying that Sahil was obsessed with her and when she refused his proposal he turns into a psycho lover, haunting her everywhere.
With these two contrary stories, the audience is left puzzled with who's telling the truth amid which Sahil tells about a secret between the two.

The trailer then sees Sahil turning into a psychopath haunting Nidhi (Shivaleeka) and even trying to her kill by the end.
Vardhan's looks promising as a debutant, with his serious acting chops especially in a negative role, giving a reflection of his grandfather Amrish Puri who was an iconic villain in Bollywood.
The trailer is intriguing, thrilling and filled with a mystery which is sure to make movie buffs go excited for the film as it seems to a unique hate story.
Ye Saali Aashiqui was earlier titled Paagal which was changed as the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asked the makers to change it because of the "social stigma" attached to the word.
Directed by Cherag Ruparel and produced by Amrish Puri Films and Pen India Limited, Ye Saali Aashiqui is slated to hit the theatres on November 22.
