Indore: Actor Yashpal Sharma feels that CAA is creating confusion among the masses and has induced fear among the masses.
The actor came here to attend a function. He said, "CAA has confused us. It has induced fear among the masses. This law will not be beneficial for the country."
When asked about the division in film industry on the basis of other national issues including CAA and NRC, Yashpal stated, "An artist has no caste, no party, if they start making films just to impress the Prime minister and Union minister, it's a shameful thing."
Talking about the prevailing Delhi violence after the Shaheen Bagh incident, he said that violence erupted after false statements from both the sides.
He alleged that Kapil Mishra incited the miscreants by giving false statements which seems to be a glimpse of the 2002 Gujarat riots.
The actor is well-known for films like Lagaan, Gangaajal, Apharan and Aarakshan.
