Yash Raj Films joins hand with Luv Films for worldwide distribution

Jai Mummy Di, Chhalaang and Malang will have their worldwide distribution under via the collaborative venture of Yash Raj Film and Luv Films.

Mumbai: One of the biggest film production companies Yash Raj films have joined hands with Luv Films to make an advancement in the worldwide distribution for their upcoming films.

The first three films of this new venture will be Jai Mummy Di, Chhalaang and Malang.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the news about the much-anticipated collaboration.

Jai Mummy Di is a light-hearted family comedy-drama which will star Sunny Singh, Sonnalli Seygall, Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon. Helmed by Navjot Gulati, the movie will hit theatres on January 17, 2020.

Navjot Gulati's comedy-drama will be followed by Chhalaang which is set to release on January 31, 2020. Directed by Hansal Mehta the film is a social comedy starring Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha.

The film also stars Zeeshan Ayyub, Satish Kaushik, Saurabh Shukla and Ila Arun in key roles.

The movie will be followed by Mohit Suri directorial Malang featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Khemu. The film is expected to hit the big screens on Valentine's Day, next year.
