Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar's love story blossomed on Uri set?

Yami Gautam and filmmaker Aditya Dhar on Thursday announced that they got married in an "intimate wedding ceremony". The couple who kept their love story under wraps for over three years is said to have fallen in love while shooting for the 2019 released blockbuster film Uri: The Surgical Strike.

Hyderabad: Actor Yami Gautam and director Aditya Dhar, who have officially embarked on the 'journey of love and friendship', were reportedly dating each other for more than three years.

Gautam, 32, and Dhar, 38, apparently developed feelings for each other while working for Uri. Not only fans and followers, but the news of their wedding also came as a surprise to people in their close circle as they never let anyone know about the brewing romance between them.

According to reports, the chemistry between Yami and Aditya developed from the beginning of Uri days. The couple dated for a little over three years but their love story never made it to webloids since they never indulged in PDA and succeded in not getting the media a whiff of their romance. Yami and Aditya's relationship is said to be one upward and onward journey for both since they managed to nurture their bond away from public scrutiny.

The newlyweds shared the news of them tying the knot in a statement posted on their social media handles. Quoting Persian poet Rumi's line 'In your light, I learn to love', the couple also shared their photo from the wedding ceremony.

"With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family," they said.

"As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. Love, Yami and Aditya," they added.

On the work front, Gautam, who was born in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh and was brought up in Chandigarh, will next be seen in Dasvi, co-starring Abhishek Bachchan. Dhar, who hails from Delhi, is currently working on The Immortal Ashwatthama, which marks his reunion with Uri star Vicky Kaushal.
