Mumbai: Actor Ram Charan said that he was chopped from the film Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy due to length constrain.
Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy produced by Charan is his father and Telegu megastar Chiranjeevi's dream project.
When asked why isn't Charan a part of the film as an actor, people would have loved to see the father-son duo in the movie, he replied, "Initially, my role was just a producer. And I was doing another film with a big beard and then somehow the director thought that there was a character in the interval. I had one. Then my dad and director chopped it due to length constrain."
Laughing at Charan's reply Chiranjeevi stated, "One sequence is there where the director was expecting Charan to be portrayed but because of the length contrain we just removed that part."
"I didn't act that scene, it was removed from the script before," added Charan.
The film stars Chiranjeevi in the titular role, leading an ensemble cast of Sudeep Keecha, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu, Nayanthara and Tamannaah Bhatia.
The star cast also includes Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Shetty.
Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy is scheduled to hit the screens on October 2.
