Tonk: Legendary actor Irrfan Khan breathed his last early on Wednesday at the age of 53. Irrfan was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital with a colon infection earlier this week.
He was a resident of this district in Rajathan and later moved to Jaipur. After the announcement of heart-wrenching news, his relatives, residing here grieved Irfan's death. The actor’s uncle Hakeem Bukarat confirmed the news.
Piku actor's mother Saeda Begum died on April 25 due to prolonged illness at her residence in Jaipur. Irrfan's health started deteriorating after getting the news of Saeda’s death. Two days later he was admitted to the Mumbai hospital for colon infection. His death has truly left fans thunderstruck.
Irfan not only bolstered his fame in Bollywood but also left an unparalleled mark in the world of Hollywood. His parents used to visit Tonk frequently. Irfan belonged to the Nawab family. Anjuman Khandan-e-Amiria of Tonk has also expressed grief over her death.
Irrfan Khan’s cancer was diagnosed as a neuroendocrine tumor in early or mid of 2018. He underwent treatment in London for about a year and returned to India in February 2019. Last year, he also wrapped up the shoot of Angrezi Medium.
